The ‘Teach Yourself French Starter Kit’ is a new concept in language learning. It is a complete programme which has all the back up and additional support material you need to get you speaking French fast, and confidently.
It has been specially written and designed for the complete beginner or the ‘false starter’ and does not assume that you know anything about learning a language. It is written in a friendly, no-nonsense style, with simplified, ‘bare bones’ grammar which covers only the language you will need.
The rules of pronunciation are on the CDs, so you will have a model to copy, rather than trying to follow written instructions, and the speaking exercises and model sentences will get you talking in whole sentences from day one. Your Personal Tutor will talk you through the course and the exercises to make learning easier and more enjoyable.
You will follow an enjoyable and varied learning programme, and with the help of the frequent practice and repetition you will find it easy to remember the five new words you will meet a day. You will learn a few simple sentences by heart every day, too, and these will give you the confidence to speak without stumbling and embarrassment.
