I really enjoyed this book. Marketted, as so many fantasy novels are, as Young Adult, it could be enjoyed by anyone who loves fairy stories and folklore. The place is Brittany, the time, the fourteenth century. There is a manor-house where two children live with their aristocratic parents and a nanny.In the nearby forest is a parallel world of korrigans, hermits, spells. Beauty lives alongside danger.One day, the children encounter the korrigans.The psychology is excellent, the atmosphere is. . . spellbinding.

Sophie Masson has written several other books. I'm off to read them.
