4.0 out of 5 stars I was expecting more, 6 May 2006
By K. Maroukian (Reading, UK) - See all my reviews

This book is entirely written for beginners in project management.

From that viewpoint, it is an excellent book to get you going.

To be honest I was expecting more and some important aspects of project management have not been mentioned at all. In my view, it is very hard to cram in such a little book what project management means.

Brown has done a good job though.

I would recommend the book to individuals who are starting afresh in project management.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for an Overview, 27 Jun 2008
By J. Atkinson (UK) - See all my reviews

Recommended for the CIM Postgrad Manaing Marketing Performance, the book provides a great overview of the basics of project management, giving the reader quick access to the process. Not in-depth, but that's the joy of the book. Took me an hour to read and is a good revision tool for exams.
