After many years of strugglung (unsucesssfully) with clutter I came across Sue's book. It explains the psychology behind cluttering behaviour very clearly in layman's terms and helped me to understand how I had become overun with clutter. More importantly, it helped me change my outlook and inspired me to declutter my spare room, my garage and my loft. It's packed full of useful tips and "five minute challenges" that anyone can try. Robson (Cambridge, UK) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)    What a fantastic book - every household should have one. In fact I was so inspired by it I bought it for several friends too. It's full of good, sensible, practical advice on how to declutter our lives and our homes. Plenty of tips of how to go about it, how to partition the process into achievable and manageable chunks and also lots of good tips on where to pass on your clutter to so as to give it a good home. What makes this book stand out from others on the same subject is that Sue Kay is a psychologist and so goes into the reasons why we hoard and feel the need to hang onto certain things which makes fascinating reading (and humourous too when one's husband is still justifiying his box or 'useful' wires or 1960 comic collection or whatever it may be).
