"This book is well titled. I did the Hoffman Process in 1997 and it changed my life, it was as if I¹d opened my eyes for the first time to what the world had to offer. Though life has continued to be full of ups and downs, I feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced the course and to have found my loving and lovable self beneath the mask I wore for so many years. To write the book of the course must have been an almost impossible task. The residential course is deeply experiential, which cannot be matched in print. However, Tim Laurence¹s book brings to life the concepts with simplicity power and humour. The exercises are valuable in personalising the experience and following the healing path of the Process. This is a book worthy of the wonderful Hoffman Process, the book costs under a tenner, the residential course is priceless."

For anyone who is seriously considering a spiritual pathway this book, followed by doing the actual course, will give them a flying start. It examines life limiting patterns of behaviour with a degree of microscopic precision and then offers real practical everyday tools for transforming these patterns of both behaviour and thoughts.

You will never experience a week like it again. What I truly admire about The Hoffman Process and the facilitators is that there is no attempt at creating any dependency on the organisation whatsoever. In fact the whole ethos is about empowering the individual and getting them to experience the all powerfull and all loving essence which lives within all of us.

Tim Laurence has masterfully put together an explanation of this work which, I am sure, will encourage the reader to go on and experience the course itself. If everyone would do this work - it would be the end of conflict for good.

It is nearly a year since I did the Hoffman Course, the hardest, but most rewarding week of my life, spiritually, emotionally and physically. As other reviewers have said, it is entirely life-changing, and I cannot believe the difference it has made to my outlook. Tim's book is a brilliant introduction to the process, simple and easy to read, and if you aren't ready, or just can't do the real thing, then this should be very helpful to anyone who wants to make a start on changing their perceptions about who they are, and finding the real person inside that outer shell we all wear as a defence. Read it and act. Really.
