As a total spiritual/religious/psychic sceptic I have to say that this isn't normally the type of book that I would read, let alone actually use. However, I have to say that the book is quite amazing! Within days of practicing the visualisations and methodology, which is very comprehensively laid out, I couldn't help but realise the effect. It really works! As Sherron says, it's good to have a specific goal in mind (something in your life that you would like to enrich/change), which I did, and by concentrating my efforts on this I acheived my goal so much sooner than I could ever imagine!

I am a 'Practising Medium' and I have around 100+ books that Iv'e read on the subject of Mediumship and Psychic Abilities etc. But I've found that 'Be your Own Psychic' is by far the best I have ever read.The meditations and exercises throughout, are brilliant and can help everyone attain/achieve their goal.

The book is written in a somewhat breathy, tabloid tone: There's nothing here to tax the intellect or to satisfy the soul, and the superficial coverage becomes irritating after a while - It would have been better to cover fewer areas in deeper detail, rather than trying to cram in as much as possible and simply scratching the surface of some fascinating topics.

The book fundamentally fails to draw you in and engage you - Reading it was like looking at a series of clippings: Interesting in parts, but not terribly involving.

If you'd like to explore this subject in more depth,try persevering with (non-fiction) books by Dion Fortune or Gavin Knight, also available on Amazon.
