Product Description

Product Description

As more people than ever are going on to university or higher education, employers are finding it increasingly difficult to differentiate their candidates - thus the use of psychometric tests for recruitment, training and promotion is increasing every year. For the candidate, these tests can be extremely daunting, especially because many will not have been tested in their maths or verbal reasoning skills in this way since A Level or even GCSE. This new series aims to provide candidates with realistic preparation for these tests so that they can gain confidence and perform to the best of their abilities.

Digrammatic Reasoning is one of the least understood areas of testing and is increasingly being used at relatively senior levels, especially in the Public Sector.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Useful, 5 Feb 2005
By A Customer
The book does everything it says on the book. It is excellently organized, it covers the various tests from all the major testing firms, which are the most likely to come up to any test you will encounter, and most importantly, it gives you an idea of the logic that these tests are constructed with! You will see an immediate improvement after you read this book...

5.0 out of 5 stars helpful, 3 May 2004
By A Customer
This book covers all of the main test publishers item styles so i found i was well prepared when i eventually came to sit the test when i went for my interview.
I found the book gave me a huge amount of support and really did help boost my confidence. I found the advice about the effect of response rate particularly helpful. The explanation of the way in which abastract reasoning questions vary really helped me to 'see' the answers when I actually came to sit the test.
