5.0 out of 5 stars Fast-Track Learning, 18 Sep 2003
By Mr. A. G. Thomson "Garner Thomson" (London United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
First, I must declare an unashamed bias towards Dr Khan's gem of a book as well as my association with its author. As a colleague of Dr Khan's and tutor of the Special Study Module in Medical NLP at Guy's, King's and St Thomas's Medical School, I welcome any approach to helping today's medical student cope with a massive amount of study over a rapidly decreasing amount of available time.

The book is thoughtfully organised, clearly presented and original in its content.

More than that, though: it is authentic, in that it was originally drafted 'on the ground' - during Dr Khan's own medical studies, and, even before its publication, more than proved its worth to him and his fellow students.

For those interested in this and associated subjects, articles by Dr Khan and like-minded colleagues, may be found at www.medicalnlp.com

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic!, 16 Sep 2003
By A Customer
A superb book tackling one of the most challenging aspects of undergraduate medicine - how to remember the vast amount of information required. Written help with that daunting task was well overdue. This book tackles that problem in a clear, easy and fun way, allowing the student to retain and recall huge amounts of essential information easily, quickly and impressively, and with a cheeky smile. This book will be a lifesaver to any medical student and is brilliantly written with visual information that is thus naturally retained with ease. An absolute must-buy undergraduate book!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Mnemonics for Medical Students, 11 Sep 2003
By A Customer
A thoroughly excellent book for both medics and non-medics who mix with medics. Humourous (and provocative) enough to remember and bring up in conversations!
