4.0 out of 5 stars Essential companion to any book of Celtic Mythology., 15 Feb 2002
By A Customer
This book is an essential for any Celtic mythology lover. Although it is quite a comprehensive guide in its own right, I would recommend this to be used as a companion to a larger collection. After each myth there is an in depth 'Commentary' where characters, who feature in the story are described in greater detail. This also includes interpretation of the myth and discussion on ways to use the moral messages in life. It is obvious the authors have spent a considerable amount of time thinking about the layout and readability of their book, meaning that this is one of the most accessible and useful guides on the market. A must read.
