5.0 out of 5 stars All you wanted to know about Bricklaying, 4 Nov 2008
By Rick Hughes - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is produced by the Brick development association, and it will probably become a classic in it's own right, and follows on from many of the required reading books for Bricklaying Apprentices.

In one single book it contains all the details necessary to gain a full understanding of Bricklaying skills.
With sects on Preparation, Bricklaying Techniques, Good Practise, Accessories, Specific Considerations, background tasks.
Unlike many of the standard books on Bricklaying this is bang up to date, featuring tools & methods that relate to the site practises of today.

The level of detail is immense, but laid out so well that it is easy to follow. There are hundreds of line drawings to enable anybody contemplating bricklaying themselves, or supervising a SelfBuild to have a first rate grounding in Bricklaying - highly recommended.
