4.0 out of 5 stars Informative, well-presented and comprehensive., 22 Oct 2000
By A Customer
This book is particularly helpful to SEG GCSE students such as myself, as it is modelled around the syllabus. However, it is also a useful introduction for anyone with an interest in psychology. I found that the use of colour and bold lettering made the text eye-catching and readable. The pictures did not always aid understanding of the points discussed, but served to break up and draw attention to the text. A number of sections have been linked to other chapters. This makes the book easy to use, but can be distracting. In general, this book is both informative and comprehensive, its coverage of major psychological studies and theories being combined with an attractive layout. There are also some useful exercises that test the student's understanding of each chapter.
