4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for parents helping with homework too!, 3 Sep 2001

The information and links in this book is good - the only downside is a lack of colour examples for data and experiments. It is useful for supplementing school tuition and helping with homework - not just for teachers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, 31 Oct 2004

This book was really helpful to me as a PGCE Biology student. It explained concepts, recommended activities and had a lot tasks in that could be used as starters or plenaries. This book would be very good for someone who hasn't studied chemistry for a while and wants a quick way to learn key topics.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 30 Jan 2004
By A Customer
Im afraid I found this book somewhat disappointing. I am a chemistry specialist myself so this might be half the reason. However, I purchased this after seeing the Physics book in the series. However it is not laid out in the same systematic way. May help you if youre a non specialist, but I certainly wouldnt recommend it if you have a knowledge of Chemistry.
