5.0 out of 5 stars A funky introduction to sociology as it should be, 30 Jan 2000
Great for A level sociology generally, and the new topic 'culture and identity' in particular. Lots of up to date and student friendly examples: eg. punk rock, George Michael, McDonaldisation, and postmodernist debates.
