5.0 out of 5 stars An intelligent romp!, 23 Aug 2001
By A Customer
I had a fabulous time with this novel. Admittedly it is NOT for the fundamentalist at heart--Kleir weilds a sharp knife, cutting to that bone of contention many people have with certain self-righteous and arrogant religions. If you have a taste for mischievous, however, you are going to thoroughly savor the story. It is clever, fast paced, suspenseful, and it's unpredictable twists will keep you off balance till the very last. I will also add that it is refreshingly honest. Kleier neither minces words nor suffers fools lightly in taking the reader on a most amazing journey. If I can recommend but one book to my friends, it is this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning performance, 17 Nov 1998
By A Customer
Pardon my misspellings if there are any, but I was up all night reading this incredible novel and my eyes are crossing! I simply had to tell someone about it. This has never happened to me before, but I literally could not put the book down before I found out what was going to happen. I even jumped ahead to the end, but STILL couldn't figure it out without reading it in its entirety. A very clever thriller, this one, coloured with lots of underlying intrigues and mysteries. I'd like to know if anyone was able to second guess what was going to happen here--I certainly couldn't. I thank the author for some of the finest entertainment I've had in quite a spell! I will read this one again!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book in a LONG TIME!!!, 26 Aug 2001
Completely gripping, this book will make you re-evaluate everything the church and government has ever told you. If there is to be a Second Coming, I only hope it is just like GLenn Kleier's vision in the Last Day. This has to be one of the most gripping and compelling books I have ever read. Superb characters and totally beleivable turns of events. In many ways, extremely scary considering what is happening in the Holy Land right now, today, this minute. Read this book! For all you ex-catholics like me, you will be vindicated!!
