5.0 out of 5 stars An Invaluable Guide, 31 Jul 2001
By A Customer
This book is quite simply amazing. I have studied forensics as part of my degree and struggled to find affordable reading material. This book is a worthy concise edition of Mr. Knight's more in depth (and much more costly) forensic medicine text. If you are just learning about the subject then this book encompasses all of the essentials in easy to understand detail with photographic case study evidence which makes the theory much easier to understand. Bernard Knight himself is well respected and I have seen his texts on Foresic Pathology on more than one practising pathologist's bookshelf! This book is essential reading for students, legal professionals and anyone else with an interest in the true science of Forensic Pathology. You will soon find yourself saving up for his other titles!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 22 Aug 2006

(REAL NAME)
This is THE definitive short textbook for students trying to get a grip with clinical forensic medicine. Fully illustrated throughout and written in an accessible prose style, for undergraduates as well postgraduate students of forensics this book is a must have, unfotunately it is difficult to get as it is out of print and you will have to put up with second hand copies, nevertheless by one if you can and marvel at the style and depth of this relatively short textbook.
