As a Ballroom teacher in training, it's possible to look at the content of this book from a more objectve point of view than the target audience.

Trying to interperet the language used and pictures provided, I was surprised that it was easy to follow and interperet, as there is a general disregard for teaching books on the whole.

Although it is possible to get a general feel of the dance, it is not an encyclopedia of dance, and will not satisfy those who wish to learn and progress. Fortunately, I do not beleive it was ever the author's intention to solve all dilemas, but more to provide a way of getting
