This is a book for all christians who, due to circumstances have had difficult times in life - more than will admit it. It looks at the life of a man who although had adversary did learn to trust in God. His problems were not solved the moment he became a christian but the strugle is all the way through the book. It has some funny bits of this mans life as well as the strugles. It is all written down in Plass style. It also describes some miricles which remind you there is a God written in a way that is clear and understandable. A must read.

Best book I have ever read. A biography of a man who well strugles, not just christian and everything is ok sort of thing, but so real. This is undoubtably my favorite book ever. I was able to identify with the emotions feelings and hurts, Plass of course shows hummor within the story as well as the serious bits.

A courageous, brave and heart-rendering story of a very compassionate and deeply sensitive man. Being one of the young Franciscans mentioned in the "Ashford" chapter of Philip's story, very much in search of love and protection, I found strength, comfort and support in God's unbounding love during a very dark and lonely time. I thank Adrian for writing about Philip with so much feeling. A must for all Christians or people searching for God's presence.
