5.0 out of 5 stars Synopsis from back cover, 6 Dec 2008
The Swann family move on into Edwardian times.

Adam Swann is now an old man, war is in the air and industrial change is just round the corner, with the motor engine ready to take over from the horse. The effect on an organisation such as "Swann-on-Wheels" could not be less than traumatising. And within the family there are joys and sorrows as the Boer War brings its share of tragedy.
