Product Description

Skipping home is a piece of cake, When you've got your very own skipping-rope snake! What can a little girl do in the jungle? Play snap with a crocodile? Join-the-dots on a leopard's spots? Pin-the-tail on an elephant? Or just pick up a snake and skip all the way home! With its irresistible rhyme and jungly illustrations, this is a joyful, anarchic picture book from the author and illustrator of QUEEN MUNCH AND QUEEN NIBBLE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 8 Oct 2009

I think I enjoy this as much my daughter! The rhymes are interesting and unusual, almost like adult poetry in places, and have a nice beat to them, and the pictures are colourful with lots of detail that my daugther likes to pick out - spiders, a bike and lots of animals. There's a great page where you say "Bye bye" to all the animals, and she talks along as do this and we extend it to members of the family, Mummy, Daddy and brother!

4.0 out of 5 stars Delightful story for toddlers, 17 Aug 2004
Beautifully illustrated story for toddlers, featuring recurring bugs on each page and rhythmic rhymes. My 2 1/2 year old loves finding the animals, bouncing up and down to the rhythms and saying "Goodbye" to all the animals as the little girl leaves the jungle - "Goodbye rhino. Goodbye lemurs." and so on.
Amusing for the adults too!
