5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent bedtime/nap book!, 12 Feb 2006
I great book - my one year old reads it every night before bed.

She loves lifting the flaps and recognising the different characters. It's also a really good length for her age, not too long (so doesn't get boring), but has a proper story she can follow (so better than basic board books). And a great rhyming text. Rabbit has a range of facial expressions, which is rare for childrens characters. And the animals are not just the predictable dog and cat (there's a fox and tortoise too!)

I'm sure we'll still be reading this one this time next year!

5.0 out of 5 stars The most dog-eared book in our house!, 31 Jan 2001
By A keen skier (Buckinghamshire, England) - See all my reviews
My one year old daughter is absolutely enchanted by this book and just loves lifting the cardboard flap and revealing the animals underneath. I've just ordered the other three books in the series as this one is almost falling apart. All her other books are sitting on the shelf gathering dust - she always just grabs this one!
