Product Description

Product Description

This text is specifically aimed at non-specialist students who have to take a compulsory module in economics as part of their undergraduate foundation year. Containing numerous illustrations and examples, the book explains in plain English all the key economic ideas, from the market mechanism to monetary theory and the balance of payments. This should enable the student to rapidly revise the main topic areas in preparation for exam time. It also contains self-test questions at the end of each chapter with answers provided at the back of the book.

About the Author

KEN FERGUSON has wide experience in teaching economics, business studies and finance in higher education, further education and schools. Most recently he taught non-specialist first year undergraduates at Roehampton Institute in London.

4.0 out of 5 stars Essential Econmics an Essential!!, 15 Oct 2002
By V Smith "Xitch" (Cheshire, UK) - See all my reviews
The Book explains the basics of economics in a really clear manner. I feel that as a first year Business Studies Student it is a great advantage to have this book, as things are explain quite plainly.
