4.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent delivery, 24 Aug 2005
This review is from: Warhol's Prophecy (Paperback)
I have read a number of Mr Hutsons' novels, generally those of the horror genre and found this more geared towards the thriller side of the scale. Initially felt tame next to some of his more graphic offerings but then suddenly all hell breaks loose. An unstoppable read, athough predictable in places immensely enjoyable and full of the magic of his other novels where you just can't stop until finished. Missing the 5/5 as i felt everything happened two thirds of the way through and although a big fan of graphic descriptions and blood and gore found the less graphic than normal, harrowing ending quite disturbing. Highly recommended title, remaining a big fan, not a bad title to date. Verdict: Put on your reading list if you have not already.

5.0 out of 5 stars A corner turned, 18 Sep 2004
This review is from: Warhol's Prophecy (Paperback)
Definately and without question the the best book written by Shaun Hutson. So many different angles covered by this author and it was a long time coming. Its as if Shaun Hutson has matured into the writer that all his fans has wanted him to become.

5.0 out of 5 stars A major teaser to the explosive end, 29 Aug 2004
This review is from: Warhol's Prophecy (Hardcover)
Hutson takes you into an apparently bland set of middle England lives and drips in a series of darkening elements that deepen the sinister feel of his world. The explosive climax caps the story well and the dedication to Bill Hicks at the beginning gives even further insight into the bitterness the author seems to hold for the world! Great read...
