3.0 out of 5 stars too many cooks, 1 April 2006

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
An absorbing book in as much as I was keen to turn the page to see what happened next. If anything, there were just a few too many characters chasing down the killer. I was never quite sure whether it was the police, the newspaper hounds, family members or even ex-police who were intended to be the heroes. Perhaps there was safety in numbers leaving the killer little chance to really show how clever he was and escape the clutches of those trailing him around the south coast.
