5.0 out of 5 stars Up there with the Masters of SF, 25 Aug 1999

Peter Hamilton ranks up there with Heinlein, Asimov, et al.

However, there's one thing wrong with this book...

now I have to wait for the 3rd one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Space Opera of the Nineties, 11 Nov 1998

One of those delightful books where as hard as you try, you cannot convince yourself that you could have done it better. Great characters ranging from the bizarre to the truly interesting, nice complex plot, hideously detailed background and the best read of 97. I even bought it twice!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic combination of sci-fi and the supernatural., 31 Oct 1998

Mr Hamilton continues the Night's Dawn trilogy in fine form, even better than his superb Mindstar books. I cannot recommend his books highly enough.
