Product Description

Product Description
'Irish American billionaire seeks bright, beautiful, independent, but above all Irish wife. Please send photo and 300 word essay about yourself to PO Box NY14786. Looking for genuine love. No time-wasting money grabbers please.' Lorna has been twenty-five for nearly ten years and it's starting to show. Successful and sassy, her money's been spent on hard living and tough toyboys. She's hoping to pull her Ferrari into the last gas station before the desert. Gloria is watching her hard earned business go up the nose of her womanising ex. Tired of life and not yet thirty, she's determined never to go back to poverty again.Sandy has other things on her mind. This is the story that could make or break her career as a journalist. But will her long red curls win her a husband into the bargain? Three women, one bolshy billionaire. Hopelessly romantic Mr Big has whittled down the single women of Ireland and now he's coming over to choose. Will he find a more crafty cat than the cooing colleen he was hoping for? Or will one of them strike gold?

5.0 out of 5 stars laugh a minute guarenteed!, 27 Dec 2001
By A Customer
stumbled upon this book at the airport on my way to a sunny destination and found myself giggling all over the sand and sangria! billionarie seeks irish wife and boy is it fun finding out exactly who ends up with who. brilliantly written, very easy to read and side splittingly funny - this has to be a must for all ages everywhere. the bitching and back stabbing are just how you would imagine them to be in any fashionable city and having visited Dublin myself can just imagine love at work in such a cool place. cant wait for her next book - hoping its as groovy as this one!

this is a very good book....you may not belive me when you first begin to read it and become involved with soo many different and colourful characters (some who i have absoloutly no sympathy or emotion for)it is rather confusing... but once you become involved in these peoples lives, past and present times..you really do become hooked....i have to say my favourite characters were Lorna and Paddy..... this book definetly made me want to go to dublin...!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Every girls' dream?....love !, 6 Aug 2001
By A Customer
A treat ! I havent't yet (but almost) finished the book(and sad indeed that I will finish it soon !) and I adore it. I love the characters which are very true and make us laugh. Lorna is a jewel. She is my favorite. And reveals so much about our inner selves ! Every girls' search for love ! Now I am at work and the book is on my desk.Between two phone calls, I sneak....a read ! I'm am addicted ! The more I read, the more I see that irish writers are good ones. Morag Prunty is a true soulsister of Marian Keyes, Kate Thompson etc. I am impatient fot Wildcats and colleens.
