4.0 out of 5 stars It was so good, 30 Oct 2002
I know these books are kind of corny but I still read it in one sitting. There good holiday reading or for when you feel like something easy. If only they weren't so hard to get hold of. I don't think this book was as good as the rest but number 7 is much better. The ideas in this book about Zoey's father having an affair tie in with later books in the series when Zoey has to decide between two guys and also helps her to forgive her boyfriend, Lucas. You need to read the other books in the series, numbers 1-5 for this to make sense really but once you start the series you'll really want to read the rest of it. Really light and funny.

Zoey decides to go away to Vermont skiing with the other Islanders. Claire has manipulated them all to go so the setting will be right for her to get back together with Jake. Lucas tries to pressure Zoey into having sex with him and she declines so he leaves. She decides to go back home and when she gets there she sees something she shouldn't have. She sees her mother with another man. the other man was....yeah...like i am gonna tell you! order the book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Maybe not the best in the series, 30 Jun 2002
By A Customer
The sixth book in the series of Katherine Applegate's Making Out books. The story continues of the group of friends living on an island with many ups and downs. This book was probably too long and dragged on at times and all the information in the story could have been crammed into one chapter. The other five previous books have been great but i'm not sure how good the rest of the series is going to be as there is a massive 28 in it and there can't be that much to write about! A good book to read on the train or bus, but maybe not the most thrilling book and Applegate seems to have lost her 'on the edge of my seat' appeal in this book. Hopefully book number 7 will be an improvement.

As soon as I picked this book up I knew I'd never put it down. I have read some of the books before it in the Making Out series and they all had me wanting more. Read more
