Product Description

Product Description

The 7th Lloyd and Hill mystery. Lying in the glare of the police arc-light was the body of a 15-year-old schoolgirl, beaten, strangled and possibly raped. For Hill and Lloyd this is the start of a harrowing police enquiry. One that will produce suspects and motives but no witnesses.

I personally felt that Ms McGown couldn't improve on this book's predecessor - Murder... Now And Then - but she's certainly equalled if not surpassed that novel with this, the seventh Lloyd and Hill investigation. As ever there are clues and red herrings in abundance, all woven together with a real skill. Jill McGown really can rival Agatha Christie for detective fiction, and she's possibly the only modern-day crime writer who can. Brilliant.
