5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, could not put it down, and reread 3 times, 27 Mar 1999

I loved this book. Its fantasy based on fact. All about ancient Ireland, the High Kings, the Druids. It really takes you there, learning while enjoying a gripping plot and fascinating characters. Now I know what it must have been like to live back then. Also, the Author is now the Patroness of the Druids, grew up in Ireland, has published wonderful poetry, is an artist, and is married to Robin Gibb of the BeeGees. Fascinating stuff; would like to purchase some of her poetry and art books sometime, and waiting for the 3rd book to be available:Cormac, the Sage...and waiting...
