5.0 out of 5 stars A magical story of love and identity, McPhillip at her best, 9 Feb 2000
By A Customer
If you believe in magic, if you see beauty in nature and know a poet resides in your soul - read all of McPhillips work, she articulates beauty, love and poetry in the way you wish you could express yourself. This story of a wandering dreamer, separated from his nomadic tribe and thrown into the strange world of a mysterious swamp witch, will carry you along in their adventure as they search for the answers to riddles within riddles. Nothing is as it first seems, each character has a secret and every character has a story. Read it and get the sequel, I've read all her books a million times!
