Product Description

Product Description

A young woman is found murdered in a small English town, while the main suspect has spent the night drinking, and denies any involvement. It looks like an easily solved case for Detective Inspector Lloyd and Sergeant Judy Hill, but it soon proves more complex than they originally thought.

4.0 out of 5 stars A promising debut, 6 Sep 2001
By A Customer
Ms McGown's debut Lloyd and Hill thriller promises good things to come. A tight plot, great characterisation and a real understanding of how to construct a first-rate crime novel combine to make this an excellent introduction to the fictional town of Stansfield. Recommended to any lover of detective fiction.
