3.0 out of 5 stars Rockin All Over The World, 22 Nov 2009

This review is from: Rock Star (Paperback)
This is one for those who like Jackie in her earlier years. It's a good story, but she writes in shorter and shorter episodes as the book goes on. It's as if she had lots of detail at the beginning, but then got so caught up in the adventure she had to get it down on paper quickly.

Kris as a hero doesn't develop that far, either. Bobby and Rafaella have far more interesting stories. The last two could have had a book each of their own; Rafaella's would be brilliant - all those years in Rio. Bobby's is a great tale as well, involving Sharleen and Sara, two characters who need a lot more developing.

The over-arching story of the Senator's event develops well, but is rushed at the end. The shooting and hostage situation are dealt with in too few pages.

It's Jackie getting into her stride, this book. A few too many things thrown into the pot and one ok story where she could have written three excellent ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Typical Collins, 12 Mar 2007
Sex, scandal, fame and fortunes! Absolutely brilliant book! I totally loved this book, its very typical of Jackie Collins. There is the basic story of the Marcus Citroen's concernt, and then the story goes back to when the main characters were younger, and how they ended up at the concert. Definately kept you reading the whole way through, and the fact that most chapters ended on a cliff hanger made me want to keep reading to get back to that particular character!
A must read for all Collins fans!
