3.0 out of 5 stars A good book to have on your shelf for reference, 17 Feb 2003
This is a very big detailed book with small print and thin pages which make it difficult to read, however, it is fairly easy if you are using the index to look up specific things.

Because this is an American book some of the way in which practice is conducted is different, but the principles are the same, so dont be put off by that.

I would recomend this book to theatre nurses/ODP's just because of the section on surgery. Good diagrams and dialogue make this book understandable, unlike so many others, as it seems to be written in a language that as scrub practioners we can relate to and understand what the surgeons are doing and more importantly why.

All in all a book that I wouldnt do without now that i have it.
