This book is writen by people who not only are the experts in FCP5 but also understand how quality learning should be structured. The book is split into chapters which provide a step by step instructions on the tasks set out. But what is most important it reassesses what you have learned at the end of each chapter. In addition it includes a world class footatge which you edit when going through the chapters.

This book is suitable both for beginners and and advanced users.

Well laid out and easy to follow a quality publication. Having moved up from Final Cut Express perhaps it was easier for me to get my head around but I am sure a new user will find this a must have. So impressed that I am now going to obtain Soundtrack Pro from the same publisher.

couldn't wait to get cracking with this book. Wanted to do a FCP course but had no time, so the last few nights I have worked through the book. Watch out Spielberg!
Excellent layout, very easy to follow. Real footage included on the DVD for you to edit (and a final version for you to compare your work with).
Have already ordered the next 2 in the series. Would like to take the exams now!
Highly recommended
