The book is split into chapters which provide a step by step instructions on the tasks set out. But what is most important it reassesses what you have learned at the end of each chapter. In addition it includes a world class footatge which you edit when going through the chapters. Having moved up from Final Cut Express perhaps it was easier for me to get my head around but I am sure a new user will find this a must have. Wanted to do a FCP course but had no time, so the last few nights I have worked through the book. Watch out Spielberg! Excellent layout, very easy to follow. Real footage included on the DVD for you to edit (and a final version for you to compare your work with). Have already ordered the next 2 in the series. Would like to take the exams now!
