4.0 out of 5 stars Well crafted suspense/ mystery, 25 July 2004
By K. Wilson "mishka97" (Scotland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Valetine is a mystery that leaves the reader hanging on the the very end. Just when you think you have everything lined up the plot twists and leaves you stunned. The ending was so unexpected with a plot twist that came out of left field. If you like mysteries that leave you hanging until the last minute and plot twists that turn everything upside down this is a book for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Smooth thriller with a twist to make your hairs stand on end, 6 Nov 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Valentine (Hardcover)
From the first chapter you realise the killer is a cool and calculating character. He feels no sadness and causing others pain. But his victims are special. They all know something about him, something that he will repay them all for. As a young man he was seen as different, and for this he paid the price. But as he grew older he changed, he had his weaknesses pushed on him and for that he grew stonger. He re-invented himself and then went on a payback trip that always culminated in murder on Valentines day. He knew his targets but they couldn't remember him. Red herrings that keep you thinking from the first sentence, leading to a twist near the end that makes you look up from the book and think "Oh my God"! You will want to read the book again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love, 2 Sep 2003
This review is from: Valentine (Paperback)
This book is an end of the seat thriller, with twists and turns so when the eventual killer is unearthed the truth is very surprising.
