5.0 out of 5 stars When dinosaurs die, 27 April 2007

We have just had a presentation at uni about introducing death to kids and been shown this book. I thought it was brilliant- it covers a wide range of situations from prem babies to accidents and getting old. it explains the difference between being alive and dead. A really useful way of talking to kids about death, not too heavy and even covers the fateful death of the hamster!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for kids and parents!, 23 Jun 1998
By A Customer
Comprehensive, subtle, even humorous, explores many aspects of dying and associated situations. Helps kids ask questions, and parents answer them. A great book for home library!

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful for explaining a difficult subject, 15 Sep 2009
By Nicole (England) - See all my reviews
After the death of a grandparent I found this book very useful for my 9 year old son. He was finding the death very upsetting and this gave a clear account of what happens when someone dies down to what a coffin is, It is done in a straightforward way but with cartoons and dinosaurs which lightens the subject and adds a bit of humour. Very useful!
