If you want to learn C++ and intend to buy this "hands-on tutorial" please forget it! The title of this book should have been "The annotated C++ reference manual". The book is short of narative text and is full of blank spaces.The publisher could have shown some respect for readers and deliver a book not this joke. However, if you are an intermediate C++ programmer and would like to tune in your knowledge then do buy this book because it presents many pitfalls which might take you a long time to learn and avoid.

As an aside, I am no beginner to programming. I 've been programming in Fortran and Turbo Pascal for 10 years now and I have 2 years experience in C.

To conclude, do not waste your money and don't be fooled by the title!
