3.0 out of 5 stars interesting and educational, 9 Dec 2005
By Hayley nealon (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
as an avid reader of true crime, profiling and forensic pathology i have found this book both interesting and educational, what i also enjoyed about this book is that it is easy to understand and not packed with too much technical jargon. what is discussed is explained in detail and therefore suitable for the novice. it is also good to see examples of cases that i have not read about in other books, as most books seem to cover the same criminals time and time again, there are some brief unknown cases discussed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 8 Oct 2007
Having read many of John Douglas' books I was expecting a book of equal calibre but instead struggled to finish reading it. Compared to Douglas, Hazelwood's recounting of cases is superficial and dry. Added to this, the grammar falls appart in places making it frustrating and hard to understand. I won't be buying any more books by this author.
