As the cover recommendation, from Catherine Anderson, says. This is in the style of Lavyrle Spencer (Years, a beautiful love story)so you know what you are getting.
If you are looking for a beautifully written story with characters that you learn to care for and love. A story with hardly any sex (Yes, I do love a bit of Ellora's Cave sometimes.)but it is there to keep all happy.
Then you can not go wrong with this book. Why is it so hard to get hold of though?
It is set in 1880, Oregon and follows the story of Althea Ford and Jefferson Hicks. Both with trouble pasts which have carved their present lives.
Of course , there is the happy ending (What is the point in reading a romance book if it does not have one!!) but there are a few twists before you get there.
Overall I spent a lovely afternoon in the sun (Yes, it was not raining) enjoying this book and now I am looking out for more books by this author.
