I truely enjoyed the book and could not put it down. It made me laugh and cry. When I read it to my six year old daughter, she wanted to hear more. She asked questions about the story. It means alot that an author would write about something so real and hard to face. It was very heartwarming. I loved it and hope to hear more from Jerry Bledsoe and that someday, I may be able to write the story of my own disabled children as well.

Heatwarming Christmas tale of love and loss......, 13 April 1999

The Angel Doll is a nice story of 2 little boys who deliver newspapers. One of the boys (Whitey) is saving money to buy an angel doll for his sick sister. My favorite aspect of the book is the theme of love shown by the characters like Whitey, Mrs.Barnes, and others. It is a nice little story that can be read year round with a heartwarming end involving angel dolls.
