4.0 out of 5 stars Vuluptuous Intencity, 2 Jan 2003
This is a most exciting book, and a must read for all horror readers, and also those into the occult and supernatural.
It follows the thoughts of a man who happens to come across a Vampyre, and witness' many extroadinary feats, including the seduction of a young woman. Her beauty attracts both men, but the poison and hypnosis wins her over to be the vampyre's willing slave....and the ending? Well, I wouldn't give that away, but its certainly not to be missed. Some would say that this book is rather slow, until the final chapters, however I feel this is in order to mimic the style of the ancient powerful and confident vampyre. This book is dark, full of symbolism, and takes a number of uncommon new ideas about the origins of vampyres out into the light.
For maximum enjoyment of this product please read by candlelight.
Exciting reading.
