Eliza Blake is a newswoman on the rise at Key News, when a senior colleague, Bill Kendall, dies suddenly and Eliza is thrust into the limelight. However, she soon sees reason to suspect the circumstances around Kendall's death and finds herself thrown into a world of greed, jealousy and fowl play.

This is the first of Mary Jane Clark's novels featuring single mum Eliza Blake as the heroine. She is back in a later novel, "Close to You". Eliza is maybe the most sympathetic and charismatic of Clark's heroines, all working at the same TV network, Key News.

As all Mary Jane Clark's books, "Do You Want to Know a Secret" is a very light and entertaining read. Her talent for writing bestsellers and first hand knowledge of the television world (where she herself works), make her books sure page-turners. The clever plot and interesting characters guarantee first class intelligent and absorbing suspense reading.
