5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful collection by brilliant authors, 22 Oct 2003
This collection of short stories continues to broaden the concept of 'ecotopia' as initiated by Ernest Callenbach in his classic novel with the same name. These "ecological-utopian" category-defying science-fiction pieces are written by impressive names like Gary Snyder, Robert Silverberg, Ursula Le Guin and even boasts one from Ernest Callenbach himself. The fact that the collection has been edited by the legendary Kim Stanley Robinson only underlines the impeccable quality of the whole. It only lacked a story by Mr. Robinson. I really recommend this as an introduction to environmental, and related, fiction.
