I borrowed this from a friend. I dissagree with the last two reviews mainly on the grounds that the letters are written by children and should be taken as such. Children do repeat themselves over and over and thats the case be it verbally or when they write letters. Why do they need to have demonstrated they understood the books? Whats to be understood? That they enjoyed the books enough to write about them is surely enough? I rated this book one star purely because it's not my cup of tea as reading matter, it's not a reflection on the letters written in it by the children.

When someone gave me that book to read, I thought it would be fun to see what children think of Harry Potter, to see how his story fuels their imagination. Instead, all I found was incomprehensible gibberish (and proof that few of those children have really understood the Harry Potter stories), and boring and poi
