The beginning was certainly enough to get me hooked in, but as I continued reading, the characters were people that seemed more of people actually made up by the authors mind, other than real people--which they should be like. Also the plot is somewhat obscure, and as I read more into it, it wasn't very believable. The parts that were supposed to be very shocking, sometimes made me laugh instead. But then again, I don't read many mysetries, so maybe I just don't take them as seriously.
