As a huge fan of Ava Gardner I found this a very interesting and easy read. It was well written without taxing the mind but also not challenging it, full of insights into her life but nothing more than a very good biography.

Have only just finished this book and loved it! Full of all gems of her life, she had a way about her that would drive the men crazy they just adore her.
If you don't really know much about this famous hollywood star then this is a great insight to her life and well worth a read. Must add had a lot of interesting facts about other stars of that time, and I think would also want you then pick up other books about the stars mention, Frank, Grace and Betty here I come.
