Having only tried one pattern so far my comments may not apply to the entire book. However, not only was there a misprint in the needle size (a size 3 needle is 3.25mm not 3mm), but the instructions for the first 9 rows do not make sense. In rows 5, 7 and 9, the final p1 should come before the T2F, T2B and T2B, not after. In this particular instance it is easy enough to figure out the intent of the pattern so not a problem. However, it makes me wonder whether I might discover further errors which cannot be easily rectified.

I have already ordered and received the yarn for this project but am reluctant to continue so will use it to make something else out of another book of denim patterns.

I have not given this book a very high rating because if you can't trust the accuracy of the patterns then in my opinion, it is a waste of money!

For anyone who likes knitting with denim yarn and remembers desperately trying to fade your jeans when you were a teenager this is a treat. There are classic patterns, modern patterns, complicated patterns, simple patterns, cables and colourwork in varying shades of denim, and explanations on how to make your knits look more like washed and worn jeans than brand new navy blue. Very different to most knitting books available.

For all you avid denim knitters and fans of Artwork, this really is the ultimate book. I loved all the different techniques especially using sandpaper to get a really vintage feel. There are some really classic cabled jumpers and some very modern accessories like the fantastic beach blanket. I think this will make a perfect Christmas present.
