5.0 out of 5 stars A detailed account of some of Britain's finest public houses, 30 Jun 2003
This book is one which undoubtedly took many hundreds of hours of research. The author has obtained a level of detail in some areas that could possibly be considered by some to be to great. The book itself is well presentd with extensive use of colour plates, old photographs and line drawings. It is an excellent reference book for those interested in historical pub interiors and also anyone with a desire to examine the architecture of some of Britain's best known landmarks.
