AS A BIOGRAPHY THIS BOOK HAS LIMITED VALUE AS VERY FEW DETAILS ARE GIVEN ABOUT HIS PERSONAL LIFE AND HIS UPBRINGING IN ABERDEEN. THE BOOK IS REALLY A REVIEW OF HIS CAREER AS AN ACTOR AND DRAWS ON HIS DETAILED KNOWLEDGE OF DRAMA AND PHILOSOPHY. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS DOES NOT MAKE IT AN EASY BOOK TO READ ALTHOUGH ONE CAN ADMIRE HIS THOUGHTFUL APPROACH TO HIS LIFE'S WORK.
