I have had the priviledge to be taught by this great author this last year and I am proud to be able to brag about it- as he is such a talented chap. This book is equally as good as his first- "The Rainbow Singer." I wish him every success as an author- please, lots of people buy this book cos he says he's sick of living in a squat in Huddersfield!

As seen on T.V. is the ultimate stocking filler for anyone who was brought up on cult tv. garbage and loved it! It's a surreal satire of our TV-obsessed culture, shot through with catch phrases, programme titles, and Hollywood look-a-likes.
From the Six million dollar man to the A-team, Knightrider to any other easily digestible action/intrigue show from the 60's right up to present day, the narrator manages to pay homage to them all through the eyes of his protagonist Kirk ('Captain Kirk') Rush. As he struggles to adapt the A-Team into the movie, whist saving his death-happy sister from a Suicide Sect. The result is a cleverly written satire of all things colour screen woven into a non stop action packed detective story (in the vein of every afore mentioned show) with a powerful thought provoking ending. Buy this book, love this book and prey for a movie or t.v. series!

This is an extraordinary novel because it takes the whole notion of fiction and turns it on its head - a book that pays homage to our television past whilst taking us into a fictional future.I LOVED THIS BOOK - YOU WILL TOO.
