5.0 out of 5 stars A really great Osprey book !!, 6 Jul 2007

(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
I must confess that I was really not familiar with this battle and in fact I learned about it only when looking at this book in the library. Well, it seems that I missed a lot! What a great (and tragic) story! And Angus Konstam really knew how to tell it. I must confess that I was shocked by the details about the fate of loyalists, as much as I was thrilled by the dramatic fight. I learned a lot and once arrived at the end I was sincerely sorry that there was no more. Excellent and very clear writing, good illustrations, good maps and really good colour plates. Good job Osprey, good job Mr Konstam and good job Mr Hook.
